- 3 large onions, sliced
- 1 green pepper, minced
- 3 Tbsp. fat
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Saute onions and green pepper in fat until onions are yellow. Add ground beef and fry until beef falls apart.

2Stir in remaining ingredients.

3Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole.

4Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.

5Remove cover last 15 minutes.

6Yields 6 servings.
