- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3/4 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef until light brown.

3Drain fat.

4Add onion and pepper.

5Cook and stir until onion is tender.

6Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt and pepper.

7Heat thoroughly.

8Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole.

9Cover and bake for 1 hour.
