Ingredients

  • 2 med. onions, sliced
  • 2 green peppers, minced
  • 1 pound hamburg
  • 2 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili pwdr
  • 2/3 c. long grain rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper

Directions

    Saute/fry in very little fat (or possibly cooking spray) the onions and pepper till onions are translucent/soft.

    Remove to 2 qt casserole.

    Saute/fry the hamburger till it is no longer pink.
  4. 4
    Drain fat, and add in meat to casserole dish.

    Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.

    Cover.

    Bake at 350 degrees for about 3/4 hour.

    Serves 6-8.
