Ingredients
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of ground cloves
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 onions, chopped fine
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 4 bay leaves
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 lb. ground beef
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Brown ground beef in a large kettle.

2Pour off fat.

3Place soup into kettle; add about one soup can of water, then add all the other ingredients.

4Mix well; bring to a boil, then simmer slowly until mixture thickens, about 2 hours.

5If desired, a tablespoon or two of flour dissolved in a small amount of water may be added near the end of the cooking time.

6Remove bay leaves before serving; serve over grilled hot dogs.

7First spread mustard over dog, then add chopped onions and top with sauce.
