  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 1 c. pecans

Directions

    Mix eggs and sugar.

    Stir in salt, melted butter and Karo. Add pecans, last.

    Bake in pie shell for 10 minutes at 425°. Reduce heat to 350° and bake until brown, or until knife inserted in middle of pie comes out clean, approximately 25 minutes.
