  • 2 c. pinto beans, soaked overnight, not drained
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 cans tomatoes
  • 3/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 6 drops hot sauce
  • 1/4 lb. (1 c.) salt pork, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Cook beans, pork, onion, garlic, salt and pepper slowly for 2 hours.

    Add tomatoes, green pepper, sugar and hot sauce.
