- 2 c. sifted flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. (2 sticks) oleo
- 1 c. water
- 4 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Grease and flour 15 x 11 x 1 1/2-inch pan.

2Sift together and set aside the first 3 ingredients.

3Combine and heat to boiling in 2-quart pot, stirring, the next 3 ingredients, then add to pot, flour mixture and beat with mixer until well blended.

4Add last 3 ingredients and mix well.

5Pour into pan and bake at 350° for 22 minutes.

6Frost cake while still warm.
