  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    In a large saucepan, mix butter, water and cocoa.

    Heat to boiling.
  3. 3
    Take off heat; add flour, sugar, salt, sour cream, baking soda and eggs.

    Mix well and pour into 15 x 11-inch baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 375°.

    Pour icing over warm cake.
