Ingredients: 2 cups sugar; 2 cups flour; 1/2 tsp salt; 3 sticks butter; 1 cup water; 1/2 cup cocoa; 2 eggs; 1/2 cup sour milk; (1 tbsp vinegar to 1/2 cup milk); 1 tbsp. vinegar; 1 tsp baking soda; 6 tbsp milk; 1 lb powder sugar; 1tsp vanilla; 1/2 cup nuts (optional)

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt

1 cup water
1/2 cup cocoa

1/2 cup sour milk
(1 tbsp vinegar to 1/2 cup milk)
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp baking soda
6 tbsp milk
1 lb powder sugar
1tsp vanilla
1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Directions

sift together in a large bowl , 2 cups of sugar ,flour and salt.

Bring to boil,2 sticks of butter and water, add 4 tbsp of cocoa. In a small bowl combine eggs, sour milk, vinegar and soda. add all to large bowl and mix.pour into deep greased cookie sheet.

bake at 400 degrees for 20 min.

Frsting : bring to boil - 1 stick of butter ,4 tbsp of cocoa and milk. remove from heat add powder sugar and vanilla. mix sprinkle 1/2 cup nuts on HOT cake and pour frosting over.
