- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro
- 1 teaspoon minced gingerroot
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground dried Thai chiles
- 1 small lime, juice of
- steamed banana leaf, to wrap the fish
- 1/2 cup white rice
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (for added flavor, skip salt and add 1 chicken boulion cube)

1["Bring the cup of water to a boil and add the salt or cube and rice. Stir and reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. This will make more rice than you need, but you don't have a pot small enough to make less. Bring a wok of water to boil with a steamer basket on top.
