  • 2 (9 ounce. each) Packages frzn baby lima beans
  • 1 (9 ounce.) pkg. frzn cut green beans
  • 1 (9 ounce.) pkg. frzn wax beans
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • butter
  • 2/3 c. minced onion
  • 1-1 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1-1 1/2 teaspoon curry pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon grnd coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon mace
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2/3 c. heavy cream
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) can golden brown mushroom soup

Directions

    Cook beans individually in water till barely tender, drain.

    In large skillet, saute/fry celery in 3 Tbsp.

    butter 5 min.

    Add in onion and mushrooms and cook till golden brown.

    Add in curry, dissolved in small amount of water, and remaining seasonings.

    Stir in soups then cream.

    Add in beans and almonds and put in a baking dish.

    Sprinkle lightly with cheese and dot with butter.

    Bake at 325 degrees for 45 min or possibly till bubbly and golden.
