- 8 tsp. butter, softened
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 egg
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
- 1 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 375°.

2Mix well the butter, sour cream and egg in a large bowl.

3Stir in the cans of corn and muffin mix. Spoon it into a 2-quart casserole.

4Bake for 1 hour.

5If you decide to use the cheese, add it after 45 minutes and stir well. The dish is cooked when it is slightly puffed.
