  • 1 cup finely chopped cantaloupe
  • 1 cup finely chopped mango
  • 1 cup finely chopped strawberries
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped peeled cucumber
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped jalapeno or poblano (seeded)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon finely chopped fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Combine and mix all ingredients in a bowl, let stand for 15 - 20 minutes, serve with a slotted spoon.

    Best used fresh the fruit starts to masticate quickly and will be somewhat soggy the next day though still tasty.
