Three Hour Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • cubed stew beef
  • onions, cubed
  • carrot, cubed
  • potatoes, cubed
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 box frozen green peas
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

    Place cubed beef in bottom of baking pan.

    Sprinkle with brown sugar.

    Put cubed onions, carrots, celery and potatoes over meat. Sprinkle frozen peas over vegetables.

    Salt and pepper to taste. Top with can of tomato soup and can of water.

    Cover tightly with foil.

    Place in oven for 3 hours at 250°.

    Do not open until served.
