- 3 lb. head cabbage, finely shredded
- 2 green peppers, diced
- 2 medium white onions, diced
- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. cooking oil
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Mix the first 4 ingredients well.

2Place the remaining ingredients in saucepan and heat to rolling boil.

3Mix cabbage and dressing.

4Add 1/2 cup red wine vinegar.

5Marinate three days in refrigerator before eating.

6Keep in refrigerator in airtight container up to 3 weeks.
