  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
  • Pastry Shells (recipe follows)

    Layer 1 teaspoon pecans, 1 teaspoon filling and 1/2 teaspoon pecans in each pastry shell.

    Bake pies at 325° for 25 minutes or until filling is set. Yield:
