  • 6 whole Sausages (pork Is Best)
  • 1 Tablespoon Drippings
  • 1- 1/2 cup Plain Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1- 1/2 cup Milk

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

    Brown sausages off in a frying pan on a low heat.
  3. 3
    Once oven is hot enough, put the drippings in a casserole dish and in to the oven.
  4. 4
    (Drippings need to be really hot.)

    Sift flour into a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. 6
    Whisk the eggs and the milk into the flour, smoothing out lumps.
  7. 7
    Take the casserole dish out the oven, pour in the batter mix then place the sausages in.

    Cook for about 20 minutes or until the batter is risen and golden.

    Serve at once with brown gravy.
