- 1 lb. small link sausage
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Place sausage and water in a 10-inch skillet.

2Cover and cook over low heat for 3 minutes.

3Remove cover; increase heat to medium and cook until brown and water is evaporated.

4Prepare batter.

5Beat eggs with whisk; add milk and blend well.

6Add remaining ingredients and blend well.

7Pour 1/4 cup sausage drippings in an 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.

8Arrange sausage links on bottom of dish.

9Pour batter over all.

10Bake in a 425° oven for 30 minutes.
