- chopped pecans or walnuts
Directions

1In heavy pan, melt butter and brown sugar.

2Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until mixture reaches 290° on candy thermometer.

3Pour onto greased cookie sheet covered with the nuts.

4Spread out as thin as you can.

5Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.

6When melted, spread to make icing.

7Let cool completely.
