- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 c. chopped almonds
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Butter an 8 or 9-inch cake pan and sprinkle almonds in bottom of pan.

2Melt butter in a saucepan and add brown sugar.

3Bring to a boil and boil, stirring constantly, for 6 1/2 to 7 minutes. Immediately pour over almonds in buttered pan.

4Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot toffee and cover with a plate or lid to melt chips. Once the chips are melted, spread evenly over toffee and refrigerate until chocolate hardens.

5Break and store in cool place.
