- 4 oz. saltine crackers
- 1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
- 1 c. packed light brown sugar
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Line a large cookie sheet with foil.

2Spray foil with baking spray.

3Lay crackers in a single layer to cover foil, crackers touching.

4In a saucepan, bring butter and brown sugar to a boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

5Pour mixture evenly over crackers, spreading to cover them all.

6Bake at 400° for 5 to 7 minutes, being careful not to let sugar mixture burn.

7Remove from oven and let stand about 3 minutes.

8Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over candy and, as they melt, spread over entire area with a spatula.

9Refrigerate 30 to 60 minutes.

10Break into pieces to serve.
