  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 oz. chopped almonds

Directions

    Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.

    Add sugar, cinnamon and water.

    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly over medium heat until caramel color (15 to 20 minutes).
