Ingredients

  • 2 sticks plus 2 Tbsp. Imperial margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Melt margarine and add sugar.

    Cook over medium-high heat. Bring to rolling boil (mixture will be thick).

    Cook until it just begins to turn tan.

    Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan that has been lined with waxed paper.

    Sprinkle chocolate chips over toffee and spread out with spatula.

    Sprinkle nuts on top.

    Let cool until hard, then crack to serve.
