- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 4 oz. milk chocolate candy, broken into pieces
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

3Mix butter, vanilla and egg.

4Press in pan.

5Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until light brown.

6Remove from oven.

7Immediately place chocolate candy on baked layer.

8Let stand until soft; spread evenly. Sprinkle with nuts.

9Cut into about 2 x 1-inch bars while warm. Makes 4 dozen bars.
