Ingredients

  • 24 vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 tsp. instant coffee
  • 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
  • 3 Heath candy bars

Directions

    Mix wafers and melted butter.

    Press into bottom of 7 x 11-inch pan.

    Cream together 1/2 cup butter, sugar, egg yolks, coffee and chocolate.

    Add vanilla and beaten egg whites.

    Spread over wafers.

    Crush Heath bars and sprinkle on top.

    Freeze. (Double recipe for 9 x 13-inch pan.)
