  • 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits

    Melt margarine in microwave.

    Mix all except chocolate bits and spread thin on cookie sheet.

    Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges start to brown.

    Melt chocolate bits; spread over warm crust.

    Sprinkle on chopped pecans or walnuts. Cut into squares.
