Tomatillo Broken Wheat Pudding

  • 4 tomatillos
  • 12 cup onion
  • 4 pieces fresh ginger
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 pinch ground cumin
  • 1 pinch paprika or 1 pinch red chili powder
  • 1 pinch turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 bunch fresh cilantro
  • 1 12 cups bulgur wheat
  • 3 cups water

Directions

    Fry onions in vegetable oil.add green chilies and ginger.

    Add the tomatillos and keep frying.

    Add cumin, paprika, turmeric.

    Add broken wheat.Add cilantro and then add water.

    Cover with lid for abt 20 minutes.

    For a mexican version of the same dish, add pinch of orgeno and jalapeno instead of green chilies.
