  • 1 (2 1/2 lb.) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 1/4 c. dried bread cubes
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
