Ingredients

  • 1 gal. tomato juice
  • 1/2 c. chopped sweet green pepper
  • 5 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne red pepper
  • 2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. powdered mustard
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 pt. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. white sugar

Directions

    Mix juice, onion and peppers in blender until mashed up good. Mix this and rest of ingredients together good.

    Boil to desired thickness (approximately 4 hours).

    Pour in hot jars and seal.

    I saved old catsup bottles and used these.
