- 1/2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. warm water
- 4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. drained, canned tomatoes
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. oregano
Directions

1Soften yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water.

2Set aside.

3Pour remaining cup of warm water into a large bowl.

4Blend in 2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt.

5Stir softened yeast and add to flour-water mixture, mixing well.

6Add about 1 cup flour to yeast mixture and beat until very smooth.

7Mix in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
