  • 1 whole Large Tomato
  • 2 ounces, weight Fresh Mozzarella, Cut Into Strips Or Rounds
  • 4 leaves Fresh Basil
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 2 dashes Balsamic Vinegar, More Or Less As Desired

Directions

    Wash and dry the tomato.

    Using a knife cut the tomato lengthwise with cuts about 1/4 inch apart; stop about 1/4 inch from the bottom of the tomato.

    Place a strip of mozzarella in between the cuts of the tomato and follow with the basil leaves.

    Do this until tomato is completed.

    Salt and pepper to taste and top with a couple of dashes of balsamic vinegar.
