Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 (375 mL) cups plain yogurt
  • 2 cups (500 mL) chopped tomatoes
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced with some green
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) minced green chilies, preferably serranos (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) freshly ground black pepper or to taste

Directions

    Stir yogurt in a bowl until smooth and creamy.

    Stir in tomatoes, onions, chilies, if using, salt and pepper.

    Cover and chill well before serving.

    (Can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.)
