  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 6 slices stale bread

Directions

    Cook in boiler the first 3 items until thick.

    Pour over bread slices arranged in a baking dish.

    Bake 45 minutes at 350° or 300° until bubbly and thick.
