  • 1 peck tomatoes
  • 6 small onions
  • 1 red sweet pepper
  • 1 small bundle celery
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 1 c. butter melted in 1 c. flour or cornstarch

Directions

    Cook tomatoes, celery, onion and pepper until tender; run through a sieve.

    Return to stove; add other ingredients and cook until smooth and creamy.

    Can process 5 minutes.

    Makes 5 pounds.
