- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. nuts, divided
- 1 small jar cherries, divided
Directions

1Mix together sugar and oil until fluffy.

2Add eggs one at a time.

3Add soup.

4Combine flour, soda, powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt.

5Combine with listed ingredients.

6Add nuts and cherries, saving some for the top of the cake.

7Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch pan.

8Bake at 400° for approximately 35 minutes.
