Tomato Spaghetti

- 6 or 7 strips bacon
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 large can tomatoes, mashed
- salt and pepper
- 1 1/4 pkg. spaghetti (short, thin type)
Directions

1Fry bacon.

2Place on a napkin to drain.

3Remove all but a small tablespoon of grease from a frying pan.

4Place onion in grease.

5Lightly brown.

6Heat tomatoes in a small pan.

7Put onions and bacon (now diced) into tomato pan.

8Salt and pepper to good taste and bring to a boil.

9Taste again and add salt and pepper as needed.

10Boil spaghetti until tender but not soft or mushy.

11Put spaghetti in colander and strain with hot water poured over.

12Put spaghetti into pan again and add tomato sauce.
