- 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. white cornmeal (masa harina)
Directions

1Mix flour and yeast.

2Mix water, sugar and salt.

3Add to flour; stir well, then beat vigorously for 3 minutes.

4Stir in cornmeal and enough flour to make a stiff dough.

5Knead 3 to 5 minutes.

6Form into ball; let rise in covered greased bowl for 1 hour.

7Punch down; let rest 10 minutes.

8Shape into two round loaves and put into two greased round pans.

9Let rise 30 to 45 minutes.

10Bake at 375° for 30 minutes; remove from pans and cool on racks.
