- 3 medium green plantains
- 4 cloves garlic
- salt to taste
Directions

1Slice green plantains 3/4 to 1-inch thick.

2Heat 1-inch of oil in skillet over medium-high heat.

3Fry until light brown on both sides (2 minutes for each side) and drain on paper towels.

4Place plantain round between 2 pieces of waxed paper and flatten until 1/8-inch thick.

5Add garlic to oil and fry flattened rounds for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden.

6Sprinkle with salt and serve immediately.
