  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped or grated
  • 5 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp. sage or poultry seasoning or to taste
  • ingredients for 2 double crust pies

Directions

    Mix dough for 2 double crust pies; roll out.

    Cook meat over low heat in greased pot.

    Add mashed potatoes, onions and seasonings to meat and mix well.

    Place mixture between raw crusts in 2 separate pie dishes or pans.

    Bake at 400° for about 1 hour or until done.
