  • 1 small pound or angel food cake
  • 1/2 c. raspberry jam
  • 1 (4 serving) pkg. vanilla pudding
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen raspberries or 1 pt. fresh
  • 1 can fruit cocktail, drained or fresh strawberries, kiwi fruit or fruit of your choice
  • whipped cream or Cool Whip

Directions

    Break cake into pieces.

    Spread pieces with raspberry jam. Cook pudding with 1 teaspoon of vanilla according to package directions.

    Layer into bowl as follows:

    cake, pudding, fruit and whipped cream.

    May top with sliced almonds and fresh fruit as sliced strawberries or cherries as garnish.
