- 6 celery stalks - chopped
- 2 large onions - chopped
- 12 bacon slices (1/2 lb) - chopped
- 6 cups clam juice or chicken stock
- 8 medium/large white potatoes - cubed
- 6 TBs flour
- 6 cups chopped or ground sea clams
- 2 cups half & half
- salt & pepper
Directions

1In medium pot boil potatoes in liquid. When partially done take off heat.

2In large pot on medium heat saute bacon for 5 minutes.

3Add celery and onions and saute until soft.

4Add flour and stir until blended.

5Add potatoes and liquid and stir until flour mixture is incorporated.

6Add clams and cook for 10 minutes.

7Add half & half - adjusting amount for thickness.

8salt & pepper to taste
