Tuna Casserole

- 1/4 lb. medium noodles (2 c.)
- 2 medium onions, minced
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. snipped parsley
- 1 (7 oz.) can chunk-style tuna
- 1/2 lb. cheese slices
Directions

1About 1 hour before dinner, cook the noodles according to the package directions, adding the minced onions. Drain.

2Add the butter.

3In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, garlic salt, salt, pepper and parsley.

4In an 8-inch square baking dish, place half of the noodles, half of the tuna, half of the cheese and pour half of the tomato mixture over the layers.

5Repeat the layers, ending with the tomato mixture.

6Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 40 minutes. Serves 4.
