- 8 oz. elbow or corkscrew macaroni
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper (optional)
- 2 cans water packed tuna, drained
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 8 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- bread crumbs and melted butter (optional)
Directions

1Bring water to boil in saucepan for cooking the macaroni.

2Add salt, onion and green pepper to the boiling water before adding the macaroni.

3Cook the macaroni according to the package directions until just tender.

4Drain.

5Turn the heat down low under the saucepan.

6Put soup in the saucepan.

7Then add the tuna, macaroni and black pepper.

8Stir until heated through.
