Tuna Chowder

  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 c. coarsely chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. coarsely chopped celery
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Directions

    Melt butter in large saucepan.

    Lightly brown the onion and celery in butter. Add the flour and salt and mix thoroughly. Remove from heat.

    Add the tuna and milk.

    Mix well.

    Cook over low heat until hot, but do not let it boil.

    Serve with crackers.
