Ingredients

  • 1 can tuna
  • 2 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley or pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs

Directions

    Melt Crisco.

    Add flour and milk; cook until thick.

    Put tuna in bowl and add rest of ingredients.

    Mix well; form into cutlets. Dip into 1 slightly beaten egg and cracker crumbs.

    Refrigerate about 2 hours.

    Fry in hot fat.
