Tuna Layered Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 c. shredded lettuce
  • 1 1/2 c. (4 oz.) medium shell macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 2 c. chopped cucumber
  • 2 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, thawed and drained
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. salad dressing (or mayonnaise)

Directions

    Layer in 3-quart serving bowl: lettuce, macaroni, cucumber, tomatoes, tuna, green peas and Cheddar cheese.

    Spread salad dressing or mayonnaise over salad, sealing to edge of bowl. Cover.

    Refrigerate several hours or overnight.

    Toss to serve. Yield: 8 servings.
