  • 1 x pie shell (9 inch) unbaked, deep-dish
  • 1 can tuna drained and flaked
  • 1 1/2 cups onions finely chopped
  • 1 package green peas frozen
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chives chopped
  • 1 x garlic salt to taste
  • 1 x salt to taste
  • 1 x black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups swiss cheese

    Pierce bottom and sides of pie shell with fork.

    Bake at 450 for 5 minutes.

    Layer tuna, cheese, peas and onion in pie shell.

    Beat eggs, evaporated milk, lemon juice, chives and seasonings.

    Reduce temperature to 350 .

    Bake for 12 minutes longer or until golden brown.
