Turkey Buns(Quick!)

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. (2-inch) green pepper strips
  • 2 lb. raw, ground turkey
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. green olives, coarsely chopped
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 8 hamburger buns or pita bread, halved

    Melt margarine in frypan over medium-high heat.

    Add onions and green pepper; saute until limp.

    Add turkey, mixing well. Cook until no longer pink, about 4 to 5 minutes.

    Add remaining ingredients except buns.

    Bring to a boil.

    Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

    Spoon onto buns.
