- 1 green pepper
- 1 c. celery
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 3/4 c. turkey or chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 envelope or 1/2 c. dry onion soup mix
- 2 to 3 c. diced turkey or chicken
- 1 (3 oz.) can broiled, sliced mushrooms
- 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts
- 1 (1 lb.) can bean sprouts
Directions

1Cut green pepper in thin strips; cook with celery slices in butter for 2 minutes.

2Add broth.

3Blend cornstarch with cold water and soy sauce.

4Gradually stir into broth.

5Add dry onion soup mix.

6Cook and stir until mixture thickens.

7Add turkey, mushrooms, water chestnuts (drained and thinly sliced) and bean sprouts (drained).

8Heat mixture and serve with chow mein noodles. Makes 6 servings.
