Ingredients

  • celery
  • 2 onions, chopped fine
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing
  • 2 cans Campbell's chicken Noodle O's soup
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small can pimentos, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten with a small amount of water

Directions

    Scrub ham with a stiff brush.

    Soak overnight in cold water. Pour water off.

    Put in a pot, large enough to be able to cover ham with water all of cooking time.

    Cover with cold water and bring to boiling point.

    Reduce heat so that it will simmer (never cover while cooking).

    Add water, as necessary, to keep ham covered with water.

    Cook until temperature reaches 160° on meat thermometer or 25 minutes per pound.

    Remove from water at once. Remove skin and score fat.

    Sprinkle with black pepper.

    Put in oven at 350°

    to 400° and bake until fat is browned, about 10 minutes.
